Live Presentation Mode — slideshow while you work

Traditional screen savers take over the entire session when your PC idles. That is perfect for overnight displays, but awkward when you want family photos on a second monitor during a workday, reference images in a studio, or ambient visuals during a gathering.

Live Presentation Mode is the standout feature in Memory Screen Saver Plus: it plays your local media in resizable floating windows or full-screen layouts while every other application keeps running. No lock screen, no interruption.

Frame mode vs. full-screen mode

Floating frames

Start with one to six independent presentation windows. Each frame cycles through your media on its own schedule and keeps its own navigation history — so you can step forward and back per frame without affecting the others.

• Drag frames anywhere on any monitor.
• Resize to fit a corner, a sidebar, or a dedicated photo strip.
• Right-click and choose New presentation frame to add more windows anytime.

Full-screen presentation

Cover selected monitors edge-to-edge while you continue typing, browsing, or editing on remaining displays. Ideal for a wall-mounted TV used as a living-room slideshow or a trade-show display that should not steal focus from a demo laptop.

How to start Presentation Mode

1. Configure media first

   Add folders on the Media Files tab and set monitor preferences. Presentation Mode uses the same library as the classic screensaver.

2. Open Presentation settings

   In Settings, go to the Presentation Mode tab. Choose frame or full-screen layout and pick which monitors to use.

3. Launch

   Start from the Settings button, a Start Menu shortcut, or run the screensaver with the /l command-line flag for live presentation instead of idle screensaver mode.

• Studio reference: Full-screen mood board on a calibrated display while you edit on the main panel.

Navigation and control

Each presentation frame maintains its own playback history, so stepping to the previous image in one frame does not rewind another. Keyboard shortcuts are listed on the About tab inside Settings — handy for quickly pausing, skipping, or closing frames without reaching for the mouse.

When you are done, close individual frames or exit Presentation Mode from the context menu. Your classic Windows screensaver settings remain unchanged for idle-time use.

Presentation Mode vs. classic screensaver

Use the classic screensaver when the PC is idle and you want full-session takeover with password-on-resume behavior from Windows. Use Presentation Mode when the machine is active and you want photos visible alongside your workflow. Many users run both: presentation during the day, screensaver after hours.
